(Foundational Life Skills)
Our Basic Obedience Training teaches the everyday skills dogs need to succeed, while equally coaching owners on how to communicate those skills clearly and consistently. Core cues such as sit, down, stay, recall, and polite leash manners are taught in a way that makes sense to both ends of the leash.
During each session, we work hands-on with your dog and guide you through timing, body language, and follow-through, so you understand not just what to ask, but how and when to ask it. The result is a shared understanding that carries over into daily life, creating reliability, confidence, and a stronger relationship, not just compliance.

(Behavior Support & Coaching)
Our Behavior Modification services focus on supporting dogs through behavioral challenges while empowering owners with the tools to help them succeed. We take time to understand the why behind your dog’s behavior and help you recognize what your dog is communicating in moments of stress, fear, or confusion.
Sessions are collaborative and judgment-free. We show you how to respond calmly, adjust your environment, and reinforce progress, so your dog can feel safer and more capable over time. Behavior change doesn’t happen through force, it happens through clarity, consistency, and trust at both ends of the leash.

(Comfort & Care)
Our House Sitting Services provide your dog with familiar routines, comfort, and consistency while you’re away, all within the safety of their own home. We focus on maintaining your dog’s normal schedule, reinforcing calm behavior, and ensuring your home is cared for with respect and attention.
House sitting is especially beneficial for dogs who experience stress with boarding, thrive on routine, or need individualized care. We take time to understand your dog’s needs, preferences, and training goals so care remains consistent.

Our Compass Walks are purpose-driven walks that actively reinforce training concepts by a certified trainer. These walks focus on clear communication, calm leadership, and consistency, helping dogs practice leash skills, focus, and emotional regulation in real-world environments.
These sessions are ideal for dogs working through pulling, reactivity, over-stimulation, or inconsistent walking behaviors. While still a walk, they function as guided practice, supporting your dog’s overall training plan.
Best for:
$45/30 min

Our 1-on-1 Canine Coaching lessons are designed for both dogs and their humans, because lasting change happens when everyone learns together. Working in your home allows us to address real-life behaviors where they actually occur, not in a staged environment.
Each session is clear, consistent, and compassionate, focusing on communication rather than control. We help dogs understand expectations while teaching owners how to respond with confidence, timing, and consistency. No rigid programs. No judgment. Just practical guidance tailored to your goals and your dog’s individual needs.
This is training built on trust — at both ends of the leash.
With a heart for rescue and a passion for canine transformation, Lori brings over a decade of hands-on experience in dog behavior, obedience training, and rehabilitation. Her journey began in 2014 with Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pets, a military nonprofit that matches deployed service members with trusted temporary homes for their pets. This early experience laid the foundation for her deep empathy toward both dogs and their people. In 2016, after the unexpected loss of her own beloved dog, Boomer, she turned that heartbreak into purpose. She began formally training in Dallas, teaching basic obedience for The Love Pit, a local rescue, in partnership with Butch Cappel, the founder of K9 Pro Sports. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as an assistant trainer with Horizon Dog Training, focusing on behavior modification and agility work. Later, after relocating to Lubbock, she dedicated over a year to working with “unadoptable” dogs for a local rescue, helping them find the trust and structure they needed to thrive. Most recently, Lori completed a six-month mentorship with Jo Stanford — official trainer for Cesar’s Way and featured dog handler on Cesar Millan’s "Better Human, Better Dog" (National Geographic). Through this program, she deepened her knowledge in behavior consulting and advanced handling techniques, all rooted in a balanced and compassionate training philosophy. Whether she's working with fearful rescues or strong-willed pets, Lori believes every dog has the potential to be their best self — and she can't wait to celebrate their success with YOU!
